I a wondering if it has to do with age, or the way the world is moving these days, many of us crave simplicity in our lives. But then, I wonder what we’d have to give up to achieve that simplicity. Maybe because I just finished reading the book Yesteryear, that I am thinking we’d trade off the conveniences of modern life.

@Ankita Bhatia Dhawan perhaps a combination of age and other things - discernment and wisdom for certain. I’ve always been someone who needed to get my hands in the dirt - I love growing food and flowers and my maternal grandparents were farmers. I agree that somewhere in there we would have to surrender some of our conveniences. At the same time, I’m in a place of noticing what convenience even means. For example - food for instance - there’s a lot of convenience foods available - seems convenient to not have to prep or cook foods. But what do we lose in real nutrition, how much of that is addictive (intentionally) and how disconnected are we from real food. I’m going to add Yesteryear to my reading list - Thanks
